Optimisation

Biography
Erik Wilhelm’s research has focused on three key aspects of transportation technology; namely, the design, construction, and optimization of advanced vehicle powertrains, the socio-economic impacts of automobiles, and networked intelligent transportation systems. The improvement of transportation technology through the reduction of its environmental impact and social cost is the underlying theme of his work. Most recently, his focus has been on using vehicles as pervasive sensors.
