Mohan Rajesh Elara received his Ph.D and M.Sc degrees from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2011 and 2005, respectively. He obtained his B.E degree from the Bharathiar University in 2003. Since October 2011, Dr. Mohan has been a Lecturer in the Product Development Pillar, Singapore University of Technology and Design, Singapore. He was a Lecturer in the School of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Singapore Polytechnic from October 2006 to October 2011 and Research Associate in the School of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Nanyang Technological University from April 2005 to October 2006. His research interests are in reconfigurable robotics with emphasis on design as well as research problems related to control, human robot interaction, navigation, and perception. He has published more than 60 papers in journals, books, and conferences. Dr. Mohan has served in various positions of organizing and technical committees of several international competitions (RoboCup International, Singapore Robotic Games, RoboCup Singapore Open, RoboCon, First Robotics) and conferences (ICIUS, ICICS, ICIEA, ICARA, ISATE).
