zSense won the first place in Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) Bootcamp 2015 pitch competition out of 10 competing projects. Photo features Dr. Anusha Withana and Shanaka Ransiri who took place in the competition and presented zSense project at the workshop. zSense is a free-air gesture interaction technology with low power consumption which can overcoming myriad pinpoints as hygienic issue for medical equipment and public displays and fat-finger problem in wearable devices. In the occasion, Damien Lim Director & Investor of BioVeda Capital presented the winning trophy to the winning team. zSense is part of the Augmented Human lab in SUTD, which is lead by Asst. Prof. Suranga Nanayakkara.
